1. Information We Collect

Calyxo (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is an AI-powered nutrition and meal-tracking app. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.

• Account data: email, name, language, timezone, subscription status, onboarding preferences, and remaining AI scan credits for free accounts.
• Nutrition & activity data: meals you log, macros (protein, carbs, fat, fiber, sugar), optional meal photos for AI analysis, weight entries, and—if you allow it—active calories and steps from Apple Health.
• Usage & diagnostics: interactions with features, crash logs, and minimal device information to keep the app reliable.
• Purchase data: subscription receipts and product identifiers from the App Store. We never store full payment card details.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Provide meal scanning, calorie tracking, progress insights, and group room features.
• Manage subscriptions, Calyxo Pro access, and free-tier scan credits.
• Send optional meal reminders and motivational notifications you can disable in system settings.
• Improve performance, fix bugs, and meet App Store and legal requirements.

3. Sharing & Disclosure

• Service providers: cloud hosting, databases, push delivery, analytics, and AI providers processing data under our instructions.
• App Stores: Apple (and Google, if applicable) for subscription validation.
• Legal: we may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and our rights.

We do not sell your data or images to third parties.

4. Data Retention

• Account and subscription data are kept while your account is active and as required by law.
• Meal photos used for AI analysis are processed only to return results; we do not use them for unrelated purposes.
• Logged meals and nutrition history remain until you delete them or your account.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your data. Contact us at hello@dffrent.co.

You can delete your account from the Profile screen; this removes associated app data subject to legal retention limits.

6. Security & International Transfers

We use encryption, authentication, and access controls to protect your information.

Data may be processed outside your country; we apply appropriate safeguards where required.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Material changes may be communicated in-app.
